Testimonials

There are a million reasons to love living downtown. Here's what a handful of downtown residents have to say...Do you share similar experiences or have new insight? We'd love to hear from you!

"Living Downtown was an easy decision for me, and I have not been disappointed with my choice. I have been fortunate to have been selected by my fellow residents to represent them through the Downtown Residents Council, and I am very grateful for the opportunity. It is wonderful to be a part of so many people, from so many walks life, working together to improve the overall quality of life of the Downtown community. I live in a safe, welcoming and vibrant neighborhood."
- Conrad, resident in Gramercy Apartments

"I love being just a few minutes from almost everything, either walking or driving, and I love that there is always a game, show, or event going on."

- Adam, resident in the Duveneck Condominiums

"I moved to downtown in 1977 - found a great Italianate Townhouse on West Ninth Street that has been my home and office. Over the years I've added to the property - without regret - Downtown is what you make it - it's a constantly changing canvas of development and change. And, many great treasures stay the same - It is packed with interesting sites as well as a great new flow of residents. If you haven't enjoyed downtown, and the fact you may live here as well, you're in for a great surprise!"

- Patrick, homeowner on West Ninth Street

"The best thing about living - and working - downtown is not owning a car. I can walk everywhere because everything I need is downtown. On the rare occasion I do need wheels, I take the bus or rent a car for the day. I save a ton of money and get a lot of exercise. Living downtown makes life easy."

- Bill, resident in Lofts at Shillito Place

"Walking... I love walking to work, Bengals' games, Findlay Market or just taking a stroll to check out our city's amazing architecture. I notice something new everyday and I'm constantly amazed by the energy and excitement downtown. Nothing tops a view of downtown or Music Hall from a rooftop deck downtown..."

- Colin, Bremen Lofts

"We have lived in the central business district downtown for 2 1/2 years now. We have found a perfect community of friends, businesses and activities to fit our lifestyle. We have met and befriended people from so many walks of life since we moved downtown. We have friends in government, law, the arts, and just about everything there is in Cincy. We also have a great place to exercise on the Riverfront with the walking path from Cincy to Covington to Newport and back. There is also Friendship Park or a short hike up to Eden Park and Mt. Adams. On days and evenings off we rarely have to get into the car to go or do anything since almost everything we need is within a mile. We even have the express TANK bus to the airport for business and pleasure travel. Now that a new owner has purchased the Tower Place Mall we are looking forward to the possibility of a grocery within walking distance rather than continuing to drive our car to the store like suburbanites. When the Street car system happens (and we have full faith that it will) our circle of experience will grow even larger, comfortably including more of our Urban community with reasonable car less transport. Downtown has it "goin' on", come check it out."
